Note - camera Icon versus paperclip

I have a folder labled weekly invoices. Each week, I open a note lable the note ie payables w/e 6th Dec, then I use the camera Icon and take individual scans of each invoice which I then share by using the arrow at the top of the note and select email and email the scan invoices (pdfs) to my accountant. I am now using the scan feature by clicking the paperclip. The challenge is when I go to email the invoices, the pdf's are too large and I have to use mail drop. Unfortunately, the accountant is only receiving the first invoice by mail drop and not the remainding invoices. How can I get back to the orginal method of sending all invoices as pdfs via email and not have to use mail drop. The scan feature on the paperclip appears to make the pdfs very large hence having to use mail drop. HELP!

Hello Ring-of-roses,

When scanning, tap the "3 circles" icons to choose Grayscale instead of Color. This will reduce the size of the PDF.

Another approach to send through MailDrop would be to compress the PDFs into a single file. This actually the best method to send multiple files through AirDrop. Now, this is not possible directly from Notes, you would have to share the PDFs with the Files app, then, in the Files app you would select the PDFs (tap ⋯⃝ in the top right of the screen and choose Select), tap the ⋯⃝ icon (bottom right of the screen) and choose Compress. This would create an Archive.zip file that you could send by email/MailDrop. I admit that this is not the most convenient way.
