How can I use a Russian keyboard on MacBook Pro M4?

Hi, I was given a MacBook Pro with an M4 chip. Besides English, I also speak Russian and I could use a Russian keyboard layout. Do you do engraving on MacBook keyboards? How can I do this? I live in New York

There are two issues, but one is trivial. MacOS already contains the keyboard translation for Russian typing, and all you have to do is select the right "input Source" in:

settings > keyboard > Input Source

-------

When I took touch typing in school, the teacher always said, "Don't look at the keyboard keys, look at the Typing Chart at the front of the room."

So if you listen to my typing teacher, all you really need is a typing chart:

This has a minor problem in that it is a Euro keyboard layout, and US English has a shorter enter key and no key to the left of the Z.

The other practical way is to get a marker and make marks to remind yourself what important Russian keys are where. if your keyboard were white, cut up address labels and a black marker would work fine, but would have to be refreshed after a while.

Apple does not swap keyboards, or re-engrave keys. Your only other recourse to get a keyboard with Russian Glyphs (as well as English) is to convert the computer (that does not currently meet your needs) to CASH (by selling it), and buy a computer that better meets your needs.
