Emptying the trash bin takes forever
My MacBook Pro 2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 with Macos Ventura 13.7.1 (22H221)(up to date) is not able to empty the trash. Restart doesnt help. What can I do?

Thanks for answering. I think it had to do with files on my external disk. With the disk connected, problem was over. And now everything is back to normal. Problem solved. Ted
