Apple TV app: video/ sound = 8 seconds apart

MacBook + iPad (both updated to latest version):

I bought a 2004 movie via AppleTVApp. The timing of the German soundtrack fits the images perfectly, the English (original) soundtrack starts 8 seconds after the film begins.

I already tried signing off and on again/ deleting the film/ downloading it - to no avail.

What can I do to have the English soundtrack in sync with the film?

There are no sync adjustment options in the Apple TV app.

Please contact the iTunes Store staff about issues with specific iTunes Store titles. This has to be corrected at the source.
