Those were good steps to try. Wondering if your Zoom level is the cause ... if you are zoomed in on the keyboard the keys are bigger and easier to read, but all the keys may not fit properly on the screen.

You could see if "pinching" on the screen makes the emoji keyboard smaller ?

There are a few different settings for using Zoom features, so, if you remember turning a Zoom setting on, or making a change, you may know which to change back:

says you can:

Magnify the entire iPhone screen

"On supported models, you can magnify the iPhone screen with Display Zoom.

1. Go to Settings  > Display & Brightness.
2. Tap Display Zoom, then tap Larger Text.
3. Tap Done, then tap Use Zoomed.

So changing that setting, may help with the emoji keyboard.

Else: There are also accessibility settings for Zoom:

1. Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Zoom. You can turn Zoom on or off there.
