Charger suddenly stopped working. There is not physical damage. It just exceeded the warranty period by one month. Can it be replaced since there was no physical damage?

I already took it to the service store (3rd party store. Got the details from apple customer service). They will only replace it if apple asks them to. Even spoke to the apple customer service. They refused to replace it saying its out of warranty. Told me to buy a new one

The Apple one-year warranty only covers manufacturing defects within that year. It would still require that an Apple Technician examine the adapter to verify that is the case and not by user abuse. Since it's past that warranty period, as WheelieNick has already mentioned, your only option is to purchase a replacement at your cost.
If it is out of warranty It can be difficult but I would take it to the store and ask there If I were you. The adapter has an expected longer lifespan then what you've got now
