I use my beloved MBP running macOS Sierra 10.12.6 to backup my iPhone 11 Pro Max data. Unfortunately, after last night's update to iOS 18.1.1, my computer doesn't seem to recognize my iPhone.
Is there a way to create a ticket to the iOS team to fix this issue?

Apple is not going to update an OS that came out in 2016 for compatibility with an OS that came out in 2024.
You can’t ‘pay’ anyone to do that.
What you can do is upgrade to a Mac that will run a version of macOS that is still supported or move to backing up your phone to icloud instead.
Sierra is long obsolete. I think your best bet is going to be to invest in additional icloud storage so that you can back up to the cloud.

These things aren't that complicated. It's not magic; probably a couple of lines of code.
