I upgraded my iphone to a new one. After transferring all the data i tried to reset the old one. it now says it it locked to the owner ( me). But after putting in the email and password it kreis telling me the password is wrong, bit i managed to successfully log in here with it. Any help would be appreciated
note - i removed it from my list of devices and its not on my iCloud

Yes, i can connect to the internet. I know it’s not listed because i can see my devices in the new photo.
i have managed to reset my apple password and that has let me in to the old device, that has enabled me to fully reset it. Looks like it was a temporary issue with my password update but now resolved. Thanks for looking at this for me
