How to remove unwanted tiles/text link from Safari home page on my iPhone 16?

My Safari home page is filled with tiles / text message links that I can't get rid of. I've tried clearing history and website data on the Safari App and have searched the internet for solutions on removing the tiles. Nothing seems to work. I have an I Phone 16. The Safari home screen is crowded with these tiles, and I can't make them go away. Going crazy!
