'Live Photo' button doesn’t seem to work in my iPad

I can’t make the wallpaper be alive photo. I go to „wallpaper” and choose „add new wallpaper” and then in the tab „live photo” and the recommendations won’t load, so i go to „photos” and use the Live Photo. The small Live Photo button doesn’t work when i press it, and i don’t know what to do.

I can't set Live wallpaper on iPhone 12 mini Now it is not possible to install live wallpapers at all. The "hold on lock screen to change wallpaper" feature is useless! The hold was for Live Photos on the lock screen, not this one.. And is there a way to still put live wallpaper on the lock screen?
