freestyle libre compatability

The new iOS update has made it so the iPhone is no longer compatible with the continuous glucose monitor Freestyle Libre 3. Is Apple going to do something about that?

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18

Apple is not responsible for making the device work with iOS. Freestyle Libre is responsible for doing this. Apple doesn't own the app, nor can they touch the code in their app. Others have commented that Freestyle hasn't done what needs to be done to make the app compatible. There is nothing Apple can do about this. Complain to Freestyle or find another system which cares enough about their users to make their software compatible with iOS 18.

Update Making an App Unusable:

Await a New Release or Check the App Store:

Keep an eye out for the app on the App Store. If it is seen there with the latest version, then just download it, seeing if it you see the word "Get..." --that would be a different app, or a newer released version.

Get this From the Developer:

It might be available elsewhere --just not your location. Note that apps are not available in all countries/regions. So, see fi you can get this from the Developer ---don't get it anywhere else, as you may install faulty or fake software.
