Why Dynamic Island is always on in my iPhone 16 Pro

My dynamic island is always on even when i am not using any applications. How to make it disappear ?

It is on iPhone 16 pro

What do you mean by always on, what do you see in it? If you see the Dynamic Island as a black bar, this is normal and you cannot get this away. The Dynamic Island is the modern day version of the notch that you had on older iPhones

Yes there is always a black bar on top. I thought the Dynamic Island only appeared with certain apps like if you are calling or something like that. I feel like at the beginning when I got the phone it was invisible only appearing at certain times. So it’s always on it does not disappear?
