if you mean that it no longer controls volume and turn it on and off then
if it was me then I would pull the plug on both device and then turn them back on (maybe pull the plug on the wifi router too)
if that did not help then I would disable HDMI cec on both devices and turn them back on and then turn HDMI cec back on
