iphone 15 getting warm at the bottom of screen?

I just got a new iPhone 15 through Verizon about a week ago, since I got it after about 5 minutes of video watching or scrolling socials, it gets warm right at the bottom of the screen and idk why. We ran a diagnostic and everything was fine. When I say warm I just mean like lukewarm if that makes sense like not hot

I’ve considered:

battery calibration as it is a new phone.

and I’m confused bc the processor isn’t down there.

The power supply and switch mode charger are at the bottom. The battery provides about 3.9 volts. This gets stepped down for the voltages required for different boards, components. Stepping down the voltage creates heat as a byproduct.

Some components may need more than 3.9v and that creates heat as well. I would imagine that a screen at full brightness may draw 5v to 10v.

Because it’s normal. People rarely post about how normal their iPhone is.

Apple told you no issues. I’m a former Apple Store manager and I’m telling you no issue and you can’t find any posts about your mysterious issue. Just maybe, there’s no issue.

If it’s really got you worried be sure and buy Apple Care while your device is still eligible.
