How do I set a calendar event that meets the first Wednesday of every month?

Put an appointment in on the first wednesday of a month.
Double click the appointment
Click in the time section of the pop-up and you should see "Repeat"
Click on the arrows next to "None"
Click "Custom"
Set frequency to Monthly
At the bottom click the "On The" button
Select "first" and "Wednesday" in the boxes.
