Why is bigo live off the App Store?

Actually it was fortunate that it was remove by both App Stores. Not sure if you are defending the action of publishing the sexual assault of children as they were being investigated for, but the only thing unfortunate was that this was allowed on that platform. Hopefully they are able to make the necessary changes on the platform to prevent further victimization.

They don’t have to. Bigo is under a Federal Investigation.

Doubt very seriously if this app is coming back.

In regards to both apps they are aware of the doxing, fraud and now sexual abuse with children.

Because, as has been stated several times above, it was removed from the App Store, allegedly for being involved in criminal activity.

There’s an article in The NY Times about an Asian mother on Bigo live SA her kids on live. And the men were paying big money with specific requests . It’s been banned in 14 countries already, and if you know anything about this app it should never be available in the playstore where children have access to that.

If you go to your Apple Store and click on my apps and hit the area that says not downloaded, and search for bigo app it’ll pop up and you can re download it

I follow several BIGO host on X and none of them have mentioned anything BIGO being removed. They didn’t advise people not to delete the app. Unfortunately, I had already deleted my app. I did get this message from BIGO regarding the issue.

tap Purchased

search “bigo live”

if you had Bigo on your phone in past, it is possible to download it again but but not sure works for all phone.

Not true! The app is not available in the App Store, so you will not be able to download it. Not sure what region you are in, and if there maybe different restrictions based on region, but you will not get it in the US App Store.

No it won't. Apps that have been removed from the store cannot be redownloaded.

The reason why bigo was removed due to trolling people and take people identity and they were scammers that was lost

UPDATE: Bigo Live has been put back on Play Store, soon to be hopefully reinstated back to the Apple Store
