no it doesn’t, they permanently removed the app entirely from all devices due to content guidelines violations and vulgar pictures of people getting leaked

Because, as has been stated several times above, it was removed from the App Store, allegedly for being involved in criminal activity.

According to Wikipedia it says that in December of 2024, bigo was shut down due to non-compliance with advertising regulations and multiple violations of content guidelines and sexual harassment and predators, scammers

Then you will have to wait and see. Deleting an app requires it to be downloaded again in the App Store and if it is no longer available there, you will no longer be able to get the app. You would need to ask the people you communicate with why they did not advise you to not delete the app.

No it won't. Apps that have been removed from the store cannot be redownloaded.

Not true! The app is not available in the App Store, so you will not be able to download it. Not sure what region you are in, and if there maybe different restrictions based on region, but you will not get it in the US App Store.

Hello~ I would not hold my breath on this being available any time soon in Apple App Store. I would also encourage you to use an abundance of caution having any type of “communications” with these people.

This thread isn’t about TiKToK. It’s not up for debate because Bigo is under a federal investigation for money laundering, crimes against children to name a few. Bigo is banned in other countries and facing criminal charges.

Now that App stores are aware, the expectation is Bigo is never allowed back on any platform.
