Why is bigo live off the App Store?

Illegal activity is one very good reason. Thank you Apple for acting responsibly and protecting our children. Also removed from the Google Play Store. Hopefully criminal charges will be next from the user data they are able to get.

Ah yes I've had this app for a long time but the past year it's become horrible with the underage users being exploited by there parents, I lost count how many times I've reported it and nothing was done, also emailed bigo directly about 30 times with evidence of underge but bigo did nothing

Just go to BIGO.tv on your web browser and you will be able to download the app

Unfortunately they remove Bigo off both play store and Apple Store then but they put back on play store not on apple store 😥

I was curious about this app after some months away and tried to download it tonight.

last time I was on it a druggie woman was using on her stream and going unconscious every 10mins. Each time she would come back speaking gibberish and singing along to the music she had playing.

You will always learn more by reading, then you will posting. If you have read the information provided here and still need to ask why you cannot download it and how much you want the app, it says more about your character and there likely is no help for you that is available on this support site.

According to Wikipedia it says that in December of 2024, bigo was shut down due to non-compliance with advertising regulations and multiple violations of content guidelines and sexual harassment and predators, scammers

Then you will have to wait and see. Deleting an app requires it to be downloaded again in the App Store and if it is no longer available there, you will no longer be able to get the app. You would need to ask the people you communicate with why they did not advise you to not delete the app.

Hello~ I would not hold my breath on this being available any time soon in Apple App Store. I would also encourage you to use an abundance of caution having any type of “communications” with these people.
