Notes have vanished from Notes app

When I open Notes I get this:

For some reason "Google" appears above the empty Notes folder where "iCloud" should be. Interesting, because it suggests there's a way to sync with Google instead of iCloud. But for now I want to get it back to iCloud. How do I do this?
