Login to One Drive fails on Sequoia 15.1.1

Apparently, one of the recent Apple macOS updates has confused Microsoft such that OneDrive is no longer connected automatically on [re]start. Moreover, jumping through the NOW REQUISITE Microsoft hoops terminates in failure to connect. Previously, a happy camper taking advantage of the free terabyte of storage provided by my Microsoft 365 subscription, substantial OneDrive storage is now accessible only from a Windows machine! Bah, humbug!!
