I'm on Mac OSX 10.15.17 and I need my final cut to be updated to 10.15.4.
I tried to bin the actual one and it do'nt let me redownload it from the app store since it says FC requires a newer OSX.
I'm stuck on the old ones, but I badly need to update mine since I have plugins I spent a fortune that requires the update and honestly I can't buy a new mac right now to have a "newere OSX"
PLEASE HELP ME!

Move the current version you have into the trash but don’t empty it. Log into the App Store with the Apple ID used you purchase the application. Click the button in the lower left. Log in of you have to. You will get to the Purchased page. Find FCP and download it from there. It will give you the latest version for Catalina which is 5.4.

Please post screenshot of what you’re seeing when you do this. Or has nothing to do with FCP 11.
It’s not working. I already read you in another topic suggesting this, already tried it and it says to me that I can’t download Final Cut because my OSX is too old. This workaround doesn’t work anymore I guess since 11 is out.
What is the computer exactly? What FCP do you have now? You sure the plugins will run in 5.4?
Mac Mini 2014 - FCP that I have now is 10.4.6 - sure 100% they will work since it’s in the Tech Specs
It seems working now!!! I did it again and it’s downloading, crossing fingers
