I’ve just discovered this problem with my IMEI number it’s saying it’s not valid. I’m trying to trade in and can’t because of this.

Yes I got ahold of the carrier support and they told me my ImEI was valid. I explained it’s not on my end and they didn’t have much to say then.
Apple IPhone 12 I bought from a boost mobile store inside a gas station and I’m thinking the lady tampered with the phone before giving it to me. But to the point I went on the trade-in option on the website and wanted to see if my phone could get a trade-in value well that’s when I discovered my IMEI number was invalid.
