What is MacBook Pro 2017 latest software update?
It seems that i can’t further update the computer’s software. I want to use xcode only (its saying need macos 14.5 or new)
last version in my macbook (macOS Ventura ver. 13.7.1)
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 13.7
Your Mac is currently running the latest version of macOS Ventura (13.7.1).
FYI ... 13.7.2 is currently in beta. Regardless, you will need a newer Mac to run a newer version of macOS.
Note that if your MBP was from 2016 (as indicated in the title of your post), Monterey would be the end of the line.
Since it's actually from 2017, you can run Ventura (but nothing later).
Ventura is the latest you can run.
You will need to visit the Apple Developer forum to access earlier Xcode releases. As such, you will need to sign up as an Apple Developer.
Alternately, you can try here: https://xcodereleases.com/
