How to unpause rings from a previous day?

I just noticed that my rings were paused for Thursday. I didn't do this intentionally. It keeps happening when I take a shower. I think the watch is very sensitive to water.

Of course I closed my rings on Thursday, and this pause just messes up with my progress and awards (yes I care about awards).

Is there a way to unpause rings from a previous day? It is really messed up that I lose my streak just because my watch is hypersensitive to water.
