Messages not syncing between iPad and iPhone

iPad and iPhone were synced before an international trip and then iOS update. Messages are not synced. No place within setting that reads :”forwarding messages.”

Text Message Forwarding Missing After IOS26 update Ever since updating iphone to IOS26 my text messages are not syncing to my macbook. I can no longer find text message forwarding under the messages setting. I have tried all the recommended fixes like checking to see if both devices are signed in under the same sign on. Toggling text message on and off. Resyncing messages with icloud. The only thing I haven't done was check text message forwarding on my iphone because it's no longer there.

Messages unread status not syncing on iPhone, Mac, iPad I am experiencing an issue where my messages are not syncing across all of my three devices, despite all of them being signed into the same Apple account. The devices involved are an iPhone 17 Pro Max (iOS 26.2), a Mac Studio (macOS Tahoe 26.2), and an iPad Pro 13" (iPadOS 26.2). Even after reading and replying to messages on my iPhone, the Mac Studio and iPad Pro continue to show them as unread with a blue dot. To resolve this, I have already tried the following steps without success: - Toggled Message settings off and on. - Signed out and back into my Apple account on all three devices. - Performed a network reset T-Mobile on my iPhone. Any further suggestions to fix this synchronization issue? Thank you 🙏

Messages not syncing between devices On 1-16-24 messages stopped syncing between iPhone and iPad. I’ve tried lots! Just updated both devices too but that did not help.

Disable iCloud Messages in Settings on both, restart both, re-enable iCloud Messages in Settings, and check again.
