How can a refurbished SE 3 iPhone for sale have a iOS14? That’s what several SE 3 refurbished phones say in descriptions.
I need phone to have iOS 16 at least. Worried about purchasing.
Online it says original SE 3 iOS was 15.4.

MacTracker says the 3rd generation iPhone SE originally shipped with iOS 15.4. No way it can be running iOS 14 and be a 3rd generation SE.

It’s probably an SE 2.You are correct that the lowest version an SE 3 can use is iOS 15.0
