Sidebar fails to show up in Finder display

Sequia 15.0.1, Mac book air:

I cannot mount external SD card reader simply because the sidebar fails to show ANY "Locations"

Go to Finder Settings: under Sidebar. . .

It DOES show iCloud stuff;

It DOES show Favorites.

FAILS to display the individual Locations (Displays the word: Locations but nothing below it.)

It appears to be a bug in the OS, system.

Is there a FIX?

What say you all?!

I figured it out:

There is the tiniest little > arrow thingee that barely shows on the right across from locations name. Pushing this pops up the listing of everything. I guess instead of making it in GRAY type and NOT bold they did a nice job of camoflauge. Kudos for OS designers, huh?!#@

Have you restarted your Mac lately?

If a simple reboot of your Mac doesn’t fix things, see if the problem still happens in safe mode.

How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Safe mode will often correct weird software behavior by forcing the OS to do disk repair, clear caches and other housekeeping and temporarily disables third-party mods. When you're in safe boot, the machine won’t be at its best performance, especially with graphics, but that's expected.

Does the same thing happen while in Safe mode?

You can exit safe mode by restarting your Mac normally, then reevaluate the problem.
