I received the following email:


Your Apple ID has been temporarily disabled.

For your safety, your Apple ID has been disabled because some information appears to be missing or invalid. It’s against our terms of service to provide false information in your Apple account. Please re-verify your account data. If you do not verify your account within 48 hours, it will be permanently locked. Click the button below to verify as soon as possible. Is it legit?

The message is a scam attempt. Do not interact with the message or the sender.

It's a scam. You are able to login to these forums just fine, and Apple won't email you telling your your account has been disabled.

Securing yoru Account:

Did you interact with this in any way? IF not, then you are all set from here. If so, secure your account, starting with creating a new Apple Account password.


A. Verify Your Devices:

Verify that you the devices logged in to your account or officially yours, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support


B. Consider Modifying your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone likey has your credentials. So, by all means, consider modifying them, starting with a new password.
