How do I activate my new iPhone and transfer data from an old iPhone?
Ordering new iPhone. What is the activation process, to transfer my data, etc? Using same telephone number from old iPhone.

The easiest way to set up a new phone from a previous phone is to use QuickStart --> Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
You may need to contact your carrier to set up the eSim on your new phone, but that's pretty simple to do.
