App download issues on my iPad Air after iPadOS 18.1.1 update

When I go into the App Store to download an app, it will not download. I just get the blue revolving circle. This has happened with a new app I have just bought and also an app I was having problems with that I deleted and went to download again and the same thing happens.

If you have a VPN App or profiles installed, or a security/AV/firewall App such as Norton, these may be interfering with your network connection.


If applicable, the resolution is usually simple; if installed, you may only need to disable or remove the Security App and/or VPN. If the problem is resolved, you might then be able to reinstall the offending App.
