My Apple TV won't download streaming apps anymore

I tried restarting via the Settings app. I tried unplugging the app for several minutes. Model A1842.

Don't know what else to do.

Check that the firmware is up to date. If you have the Speedtest app try using it to see what it reports. Try a streaming app that you already have downloaded to see if you encounter issues. If on wifi try ethernet.

No problem. Yes, it is strange indeed. Everything checks out and that is not normal. I did a test on my system as well and it worked as expected.

I would suggest contacting Apple support so they can go through deeper diagnostics and get to the bottom of this. Good luck.

Good tips but I already tried them. Unplugged the box from the wall and replugged it in several times. Speedtest on my Apple TV box yields 478Mbps download and 272Mbps upload. tvOS is 18.1.

The streaming apps that are already loaded work fine. I just, all of a sudden, can’t download any more apps. This is just plain weird and I can’t figure out how to correct it.
