Unable to turn on Apple Watch Series 10 Passcode

I cannot get the passcode on my watch I have done several resets erase data and setting up on the watch again and again. I enter the passcode and as soon as I go to wear it the passcode is disconnected and I’m unable to turn passcode on. I can’t even add my cards to my watch. In the watch settings, the passcode is all blacked out and unable to turn on. I have mirrored my friends settings and still

nothing. Help required!

Any restrictions set up on the paired iPhone, which do not allow changes in your account information?

If this is enabled in the settings for ScreenTime or there is a profile installed on this iPhone, the passcode can not be enabed or changed.

On your iPhone go to

setting

screen time

Content and privacy restrictions

then turn passcode and Face ID to allow

go back to home screen

power iPhone and iwatch off

reboot them give it 5 mins

and it should work!

If the passcode has been blacked out is screen time on? If you dont mind losing screen time data you might want to turn that off to see if the issues persist

Unfortunately this didn’t resolve the issue

i am unable to toggle the switch to turn passcode on. It’s like there is a software fault

I’m having the exact problem. Just got the 10 on Friday. My 6 works as expected. Gotta be a software glitch.
