Text messages saying their issues with my iPhone.

I have been getting a lot of text messages telling me there are viruses and my systems are locking down, and my photos are being used inappropriately, that a app on my phone is causing my phone to lock down and stealing my information. The numbers from the text messages are from different people can this be true how do you know if these are true it’s been going on for quite a while.

Generally speaking - messages of this sort are spam! DO NOT reply! DO NOT tap on any link!

with the text open, tap the number the message came from. Tap info, scroll down and tap BLOCK CALLER. Then, when prompted, report the message as Phishing. Then delete the message.

Do this every time you get similar messages.
