iPhone 'Too Close' Distance Notification Issue

Is there a way to get the “IPhone may be too close” to just inform you of the distance and allow you to use your phone. Currently it won’t let me do anything on my phone until I adjust my distance.

Putting your phone closer to your face will have it pop up. When doing anything on your phone, you are forced to put your phone further away from you. It doesn’t let you do anything until it’s fixed.

No. As it is currently designed to work when the message pops up you have to move your device. There is no way to make it just tell you how close the device is to your face. You could of course opt to turn the feature off if you don’t want to deal with the message and requirement to move it within the necessary distance.
