How do I download photos from my Dropbox app on my iPad to my photos folder on my iPad. A couple of days ago I could highlight the individual photos in my Dropbox app on my iPad and then bring them into my iPad photo folder. Today Dropbox won’t let me do this

What Photos folder? Do you mean the Photos app?
If so, you can press on the ... icon next to a photo and choose "Save Image" option to save it into the Photos app.
You can also tap on the checkbox icon at the top of the side panel, and then select multiple photos. Then tap on the Export icon and then on Save Images to save them into the Photos.
If you have a Photos Folder in the Files App, you can choose the Save to Files option instead of Save Images and navigate to the folder in question.
