Does apple vision pro require internet to function?

You typically would want to be connected to the internet while using the AVP since this is how you gain access to most content. However, you certainly can use the AVP without the internet. An obvious use would be watching videos while traveling on a plane (you first need to download the video to the AVP). Basically, anything you previously downloaded to the device can be viewed or used without the internet (photos, music, documents, etc.). You can also use the AVP as a virtual monitor for a Mac without internet.

You would definitely want an internet connection to get the most out of Apple Vision Pro. However, as stated, you can use some functions without a connection as long as you “preload” them prior to being offline (movies, music, tv shows, games). Don’t forget also that you can use the hotspot of your iPhone or iPad to connect Apple Vision Pro as well. I love Apple Vision Pro. Definitely feels like the future realized today. Hope this helps.
