iPhone note search stopped working

My iPhone note app has stopped allowing me to search. This is frustrating as I have a lot of notes. Also text messages don’t let me set search for certain words. Is there a fix? Please say there’s a fix.

There are other questions on here relating to this, is like to continue that thread but Apple won’t let me reply stating no one has responded in awhile, even though they all seem to relate to the update 17. You used to be able to type a word and it would return the notes which contained that word.

Notes search doesn’t work Hi, For a while now, my notes app hasn’t been able to search through my notes from the search bar at the top. It works on my MacBook Air and iPad and I am able to use Find in Note, but it just hasn’t worked on my iPhone for a few months now. I’ve just updated it to iOS 16.4.1 in hopes that it has been addressed, but unfortunately it still isn’t working. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? How have y’all addressed this? Thanks, Isa
