Apple TV remote app on iPhone 15 PM stuck on "SEARCHING"

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with the Apple TV Remote app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. When I open the Remote app, it gets stuck on “Searching” and doesn’t connect to my Apple TV. Both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, and I’ve confirmed that both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Apple TV are up-to-date with the latest software versions (iOS and tvOS).

I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps with no luck:

  • Restarting both the iPhone and Apple TV.
  • Ensuring the Apple TV is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
  • Checking that Bluetooth is enabled on the iPhone.
  • Double-checking the Wi-Fi network connection on both devices.
  • Reinstalling the Apple TV Remote app (from the Control Center).

Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions for additional steps to fix it? Would love to hear any tips or potential solutions.

Had the same problem. Solved it with joining the 2.4Ghz WiFi. Then Opened Remote-App. Worked in 2.4Ghz Network. changed back to 5G WiFi. Still working!
