How to enable full-screen mode on MacBook Pro?

On a M3 macbook pro, I want to view the apps in full screen, but when I press the green fullscreen icon, it shrink the app below the notch.

Can't enlarge to fullscreen Hello. I use a medical platform, Semble, for work. However my client view window will not enlarge. When I hit the 'fullscreen' toggle, it creates an even smaller duplicate window smaller than 25% of the entire screen. I know that the viewer window doesn't fill the screen, but it should get much bigger. I have emailed Semble but had no response. I was wondering if it may be something in my settings? Game mode not working "When you enter full screen in this way, a Game Mode menu appears in the menu bar." ...no, no it doesnt. I just installed Sonoma and the game mode menu doesnt show up when im playing in full screen windowed or when i tab out of a full screen game. Full screen problems on my macbook Hi - I have recently started having an issue when putting full screen on netflix and youtube: using one screen only, once I put full screen, the screen disappears (audio continues) and it looks as if the video I just put on full screen is playing on a second screen even if I have no other screen connected to my macbook. I have tried using the display function on my settings, but there is nothing there. Any one can help?

There may be better support for working around the notch in later versions of macOS.

Consider upgrading.
