My @me.com email was found on the dark web using Equifax I was notified should I be doing anything ? I have very secure password I only use for this account and two step verification now. I tried to find an email for Apple Security but could not find one on Apple.com site.

How do I secure my Apple ID after receiving a suspicious email? het guys, I guess that my Apple-ID was hacked by unknown person, because if I got a message from Apple official Account and shall transfered to a very weird email address!ap****e@email.apple.com , this is horrible since many years I didn’t know, right now I change my mobile phone number and saw this email address, who can help me? Apple ID: Failed password emails, can't secure or delete Hi I keep getting this email twice daily from Apple. This is a secondary apple ID I setup for a relative, but I have full control of. Luckily there are no purchases/credit card details associated with this account. I'm not sure is someone trying to hack it and these are legitimate emails from Apple or the email is the scam. Below is the header info and the email text. When I login, not via the links in the email, I was able to change the password initially but I am unable to change the security questions or even set up 2FA. How is it best to proceed? That security email is causing a lot of confusion. From what I can tell the general consensus is that is really is from Apple but even then many people had lingering doubt and just deleted it.

As for your email address being on the dark web, there have been several large corporation security breaches over the past few years, resulting in the release of millions of addresses. I've had several emails from various organizations notifying me of this. It now just seems to be a fact of life. Make sure your accounts have good security (as you seem to have).
