Your phone was not hacked. Your Apple account may have been compromised, but the phone itself was not “hacked”. Hacking an iPhone is incredibly difficult and very, very expensive. You are not work the expense.

Whoever told you that was misinformed at best.

While your Apple Account may have been compromised, unless you jailbroke your iPhone, it was not. People can't just load software on to it.

Unless someone had physical access to your phone, along with the passcode and the credentials for your Apple account, your phone is not ‘hacked’.

My 13 was hacked, confirmed and replaced by T-Mobile. In fact my iCloud and Apple ID were also
