I'm trying to connect to my apple account, but when I try, I get this:

What country are you in? Are you in the same country as that to which your account is set? Some people are having this problem but it isn't universal so I am trying to figure out what set of conditions means you are having this issue but most other people do not.


The people on this forum are users just like yourself so there is nothing we can actually do about this. If you want to talk to an Apple supervisor, you need to call Apple and ask for higher level support person. This support article has various country telephone numbers for contacting Apple for support and service ➔ Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

I have same problem since 5th Dec. Apple support quite useless in this question. The only thing that they proposed is to start password recovery and then change the phone... Now I need to wait 11 more days for further instructions.

I know password, have access to email and phone and I need to wait for two week to change password and phone...so frustrating...


But I'm pretty sure that the problem on their side with verification code service and I don't know what ring to bell. I need some system administrator that will take his *** and check the problem on the server side...not the trivial advices like to wait for 24hrs or start recovery procedure.


The only option what is left just to wait until they fix the problem (but they do not admit they have it) or recovery procedure will help (and I still will need to change phone number back to original one).


P.S. post from account with passkey verification. problem on account used for development.

I'm from Ukraine, Kyiv. As you may know we have ongoing war here and some times our air defence forces activating GPS jamming systems, so theoretically my phone may think that it in Belarus for some period of time (I have not seen it myself, but read about such possibility). Most of the time phone with enabled Airplane mode to save battery time, and I disable it only when I need to take a call or receive SMS. Hope it is not the case as my phone number has country code and any block by GPS data will raise concerns about so called Privacy.


For now I will wait until recovery procedure finished. If I will have same problems after, I will try to ask for higher level support person as you mentioned.
