How do I turn off VoiceOver on iPhone 15 Pro ?

Siri first started by reading some of the stuff I would right. If I typed a certain letter that I had previously set up to put a phrase on whatever I needed it. So then came the boxes around the stuff I would write. Then my phone would not let me sign in. It had the spaces to put the number in and Siri would say every number I typed in but they would not show up on the phone so. Nothing would happen. I kept trying, I think I had something like this happen before and I think I had to different swipes with 3 fingers. So I can’t get off the one screen where I should put in my code. But I can’t put the code in so now I can’t do anything on the phone. I really hope you can help me.

You have turned on VoiceOver. When it is on you tap each item twice, so to log in you would tap each digit of your passcode twice; the first time VoiceOver will tell you what you touched, the 2nd time will activate it. You enabled this feature in Settings/Accessibility.

To turn it off say “Hey Siri, turn off voiceover”. Then go to Settings/Accessibility and disable it.
