iMessage doesnt work on my Apple Watch when my phone is not with me (on cellular mode). My iMessage will be sent as SMS.
It will back to normal (iMessage works on my Apple Watch), when my phone is with me.
Any idea what setting I missed out?
Mobile data is enabled for messages on your iPhone?
Did you check Settings/Apps/Messages/ -> Mobile Data ->ON ?
In the WatchApp on your iPhone, Messages is set to mirror your iPhone?
And on your watch in Settings/Mobile Service, Mobile Data, Data Roaming and Mobile Service have been enabled as well?
