How to remove “can not verify certificate”

It appears to be linked to an app I deleted, see screen when I press “details”

Yes, that's almost certainly related to Canvas, the course management system. Try this:


  1. Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap on "General."
  3. Scroll down and tap on "Profile."
  4. You will see a list of installed profiles and certificates. Find the problem certificate and tap on it.
  5. Tap on "Remove Profile" or "Delete Profile."
  6. Enter your passcode or provide your Touch or Face ID to confirm the deletion.


That should get rid of it. If not, post back and someone may have additional suggestions. Or contact Canvas support for assistance.
