Siri on iPhone no longer understand HomeKit commands

For some time, Siri on my watch, iPad and iPhone, can’t run HomeKit scenes and other commands. Eg “run 21 degrees” or “turn on scooter” (Scooter is a Hue outlet).

Using HomePods work fine.

I have of course restarted everything and run the latest software.

Any ideas?

Extremely annoying Siri won't let me use other home control apps, forces HomeKit I bought some new smart lamps from a local company called I2GO. They have their own app for house automation, which integrates to Siri for enabling voice commands. After adding a shortcut for turning lights on by saying something like “turn all lights on”, doing it make Siri complain that I don’t have anything configured on my HomeKit app. I DO NOT WANT TO USE THIS APP. I DO NOT WANT SIRI TO FORCE ME TO USE IT JUST BECAUSE I’M SAYING COMMANDS LIKE “turn all lights on” OR “open my door”. I JUST WANT TO USE THE SHORTCUT THAT DOES WHAT I COMMANDED ON A DIFFERENT APP. I even tried uninstallking HomeKit, but Siri keeps trying to open it and I simply can’t disable that. Nothing I’ve tried worked. Is it even possible? I don’t want to have to say random things (that won’t trigger HomeKit) for the automations to work.

Siri not working on home button click I have an iPhone SE I’ve been trying to get Siri to work on a quick of the home button which is turned on in my settings. I’ve checked twice now she works when I say hey Siri but not with the click of the home button. How do I get this resolved?

Seamless working of siri across devices. When i call out siri, only my mac responds and my iphone never does. With siri working seamlessly with multiple devices following could be its benefits : 1) When i call for siri on my iphone and the siri on my mac responds, i can simple tell it “No i want siri on my iphone to respond”. This will be helpful if you have lots of apple devices such as homepod,iphone,mac,etc. 2) After the AI features introduced in WWDC2024, when commanded, my siri should be able to learn my behaviors across my mac and my iphone such as ‘opening work apps on certain time of the day and turning on do not disturb ‘accordingly. 3) With siri connected across devices, It should have a way to notify me regarding various things such as to charge my iphone/mac as it gets low in battery 4) Siri, With the help of new AI features would be able to understand a emergency call to lets say 911 dispatchers and warn emergency contacts ,homepod devices about the danger. 5) It will drastically improve apples ecosystem as anything you tell siri to do , it can do it on any of your devices seamlessly.
