18.2 Update has removed all Apple Intelligence from my phone, which I previously had access too

After updating to iOS 18.2 last night I am no longer able to access any of the Apple Intelligence features. I previously had access to these from the 18.2 Developer Beta and I turned off beta updates to ensure that I could update to the stable release of 18.2. Since updating, Apple Intelligence is in a constant state of downloading and never completes. I have turned Apple Intelligence on and off, turned my phone on and off, changed siri location, region, and voice and reset my settings, but nothing has worked. Where I once had access to Genmoji, Image Playground, Siri with ChatGPT, I do not have that anymore.

Has anyone else had this issue and/or have a fix?

I have updated my MacBook and iPad and they both have access to AI just fine, however my phone which previously had access, now doesn't and won't download it. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and I am based in the UK.

True enough to be true. I talked to four different techs snd none really seemed to know what exactly was going on, and none could point to a specific solution. All were suggesting options just to see if they actually worked. Personally, I’d rather see a grand slam solution.

I’ve seen others that have the same problem. Unfortunately, no one can help you here. This is a user-to-user forum; Apple does not read these posts. You should definitely submit a bug report on Apple’s feedback page and then contact the Official Apple Support.

Sorry that I couldn’t be of more help.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

Yeah I have reached out to Apple support, and its being escalated for someone to call me back tomorrow. Their troubleshooting hasn't resolved it. I was hoping in here that someone who has experienced the same may have a fix, but it does appear to be an issue Apple side that nothing we do can fix. Its a shame to have this experience after being able to use it previously.

I have left bug report feedback also.

Hello again, CiaranCoopz.

Yeah, I understand, but honestly I, speaking as a software developer, seem to see issues and bugs pop out of seemingly nowhere.

I have left bug report feedback also.

That’s good. A lot of people don’t understand how important it really is to submit feedback. It was the reason that so many things happened, including the Send Later feature, cycling in Maps, and a lot small changes and bug fixes.

Once again, you’re welcome. I’m glad I could help. Thanks for actually reaching out to thank me; not many people do that.

Have a great day! :)

Just wanted to mention that I had can report this same problem on two iPhones SE 2nd generation. Phone support (sr. advisor) did help in that they advised me that the 18.2 update removed the Apple Intelligence settings that were added on in the 18.1 version. Apparently the hardware on my iPhone does not support Apple Intelligence although the software does.
