T-Mobile Users Can Fix Issue when you receive this when trying to text "Fwd: Free Msg. Unable to send message, message blocking is active” T-Mobile iPhone error. Fix!"

We are long time TMobile customers. My husband and I started receiving "Fwd: Free Msg. Unable to send message, message blocking is active” in Oct 2024 when I tried to text friends on a years old group thread where there are both iPhone and Android users on the thread. At that time we also stopped receiving texts when the other friends texted on the thread. My texts would go through to, and I could receive texts from, the iPhone users in the group separately.

You must turn off "Block chargeable text & picture messages" on every phone on your account.

To do so, 1) Sign in to TMobile account,

2) Click on the gear icon, top right.

3) Choose "Permissions & Controls"

4) Choose "Block calls & messages"

5) Choose phone number.

6) Choose "Block Messages"

7) Turn OFF "Block chargeable text & picture messages"

Repeat on any other phones you want it turned off on.
