I'm paying for 50GB iCloud storage but I'm only getting the free 5GB

My iCloud account (both on my phone and in the Cloud) will not back up because both say I only have 5 GB of storage when I've paid for 50 GB of storage for over a year.

How do I connect the iCloud storage to my iPhone 11 account, which I'm paying for?

The last answer to the question similar to this said if I have iCloud storage, I'd get a bill. Not a complete answer. I don't receive bills but I do receive debts from my bank account in the amount of $.99 each month for both phones. But no 50 GB of store on my iCloud account or phone.

Thanks for helping.

The iCloud Storage subscription would be tied to a specific Apple ID, not a device.

If you don't see the subscription on your iPhone and in the iCloud.com website, it means your subscription is tied otherwise an Apple ID that is not the one used on your iPhone or there one used to log in on iCloud.com

Basically, it sounds as if you subscribed through a different account you are not currently using.

If you had an older Apple ID that you stopped using its probably on that account you are subscribed.

Best recourse, is to cancel that one, and subscribe on your new Apple account.

Outside of that, the 99c, may be from something entirely different than iCloud. Why do you assume it's for iCloud exactly? The charges from Apple would appear as "apple.com.bill" on your cards statement, and not identify what they are for.

No. Subscriptions are not per-device. They are per account. As long as all devices are logged in to the same Apple account they all get access to the one iCloud subscription. In fact you can't have more than one active iCloud subscription per Apple ID. It won't allow you to subscribe more than once on the same Apple ID.

If you are part of a family sharing group, it can allow each member to have their own, and they would all be charged to the family organizer though

You don't need a subscription for each device unless you have different Apple IDs on each device.

Just because you see 99c charges on your payment method does not automatically mean they are for iCloud.

The first thing to do is to identify the chargers correctly.

See the following support document for that.

Thank you for quickly responding.

We've had our iPhone 11s since 2020--right before the 12 came out. A few months later, we moved. I distinctly remember subscribing for more storage after we moved to a different state. I was expecting the two deductions of 99c for this storage. That's why I attribute the 99c to storage. However, there is no contact information on my bank statement. Maybe it's a $1 scam.

So, since my iCloud and my phone says I don't have the subscription, how do I cancel it?

I made an appointment at our local Apple Store tomorrow for a different issue. I'll also investigate the subscription problem while I'm there.

Again, thank you for responding.

If I can, I'll post what the problem was and how it was hopefully solved.
