How do I remove Activation Lock from my iPad mini?

I lost a mini iPad my wife had guven

ne me four years ago. I remotely erased it. I recently found it and was able to bypass the four digit pin but I can’t get past the activation lock. I can’t remember what email and password I used back then. I have tried every account I can think of but no luck. Any way to bypass the activation lock?
