I’ve already asked about fixing my green screen, but I now have thin parallel horizontal lines on 100% of my screen. Changing to dark mode the black is good but the white still looks bad.
hopefully the fix when it comes will sort out both green stripes and black lines.

Burdy ~ The long process of applying an iOS update to an iPhone with a weak, aging battery can be the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back." So...
Does your iPhone SE still have its original battery?
And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

As Axel Foley said the screen is failing. An existing weakness can precipitate during the stress of an update.
Don't wait for the next update wishing for a fix
Nothing to do with the battery either!!
Thanks again Alancito, just to further pass on more information, when checking my battery health there is a message/warning saying
”update finishing in background” I’m still getting flashes of green screens when I change apps but it is much improved.

If, by "Battery", you mean the Maximum Capacity % in Settings, that 80% level is when Apple suggests the battery be replaced. And I'm not familiar with that "update finishing in background”.

Burdy ~ Try this: At the top right of your Inbox, tap the 3 dots and choose List View. Then scroll down and see if that 1 unread mail appears. See the "Turn off categories" section at the end here:

Thank you I have put it into list mode (I really hate this update) it makes everything feel so much more difficult. The only way I can get rid of the 1 unread invisible email is to reboot the phone. Thanks for your help.
A failing display is always possible but the problem began immediately after the 18.2 update.
That makes a lot of sense, this morning after a night on my charger the display looks back to normal. Battery is still at 80% so you may be on the money thankyou 👍

Might be a product of the update but in my emails there it always shows 1 unread message when they are all read. I wish they had left the emails alone.
